The algorithm recursively subdivides three randomly selected quarters of a square, in this case the smallest rectangles are 1/128 the size of the outer one.

New pen and ink for me - the rotring refillable "isograph" fineliner - of course as it draws very accurate lines, showing up any slack in the plotter mounting. The ink is very pleasantly deep black, but dries to a slightly more reflective film than I'm used to, may need to change up the lighting setup a bit.
