Before and after. Replaced the Y-axis on my DIY plotter with MGN linear rails. Much more accurate (less flex when alternating drawing direction), but makes mistakes much more consistently.

It's pretty good within each color, but when changing pens the smallest misalignment shows up -- this one perhaps because one of the pens had a piece of tape stuck to it.
